Wisdom 10:5
Good News Translation
Once when the nations were frustrated in their wicked plans, Wisdom recognized a righteous man and kept him innocent in God's sight. She gave him strength to obey God's command in spite of his love for his son.

Wisdom also, when the nations in wicked agreement had been put to confusion, recognized the righteous man and preserved him blameless before God, and kept him strong in the face of his compassion for his child.

When nations were frustrated by their own evil plans, Wisdom noticed that Abraham was a good man. So she gave him strength to obey God, though Abraham dearly loved his son Isaac.
