Sirach 8:8
Good News Translation
Do not disregard what the wise have said. Study their proverbs; from them you can learn to be cultured and to serve great people.

Do not slight the discourse of the sages, but busy yourself with their maxims; because from them you will learn discipline and how to serve princes.
