Sirach 7:9
Good News Translation
Don't think that God Most High is going to take into account how very generous you are and so accept any offering you decide to make.

New Revised Standard Version
Do not say, “He will consider the great number of my gifts, and when I make an offering to the Most High God, he will accept it.”

Contemporary English Version
And do not think that God Most High will pardon you, just because you have offered a lot of sacrifices.

Do not say, “He will appreciate my many gifts; the Most High God will accept my offerings.”
