Sirach 48:22
Good News Translation
Yes, Hezekiah did what was pleasing to the Lord and firmly followed the example of his ancestor David. This was what was commanded by the great prophet Isaiah, whose visions were trusted.

For Hezekiah did what was pleasing to the Lord, and he kept firmly to the ways of his ancestor David, as he was commanded by the prophet Isaiah, who was great and trustworthy in his visions.

Jerusalem was saved because Hezekiah obeyed Isaiah and pleased the Lord by following the example of his ancestor King David. When this great prophet had a vision, it came true.
