Sirach 48:12
Good News Translation
When Elijah was hidden by the whirlwind, Elisha was filled with his spirit. As long as he lived, he was not afraid of rulers, and they could not make him do as they wished.

New Revised Standard Version
When Elijah was enveloped in the whirlwind, Elisha was filled with his spirit. He performed twice as many signs, and marvels with every utterance of his mouth. Never in his lifetime did he tremble before any ruler, nor could anyone intimidate him at all.

Contemporary English Version
When Elijah disappeared in the whirlwind, God gave Elisha the same power he had given to Elijah. Elisha wasn't afraid of kings and could not be forced to do what they wanted. *
