Sirach 27:6
Good News Translation
You can tell how well a tree has been cared for by the fruit it bears, and you can tell a person's feelings by the way he expresses himself.

Its fruit discloses the cultivation of a tree; so a person’s speech discloses the cultivation of his mind.
