Sirach 27:2
Good News Translation
It is hard to remove a peg that is stuck between two stones of a house, and it is just as hard to remove dishonesty from buying and selling.

New Revised Standard Version
As a stake is driven firmly into a fissure between stones, so sin is wedged in between selling and buying.

Contemporary English Version
But sin is stuck tightly between buying and selling, just like a wooden peg hammered between two stones in a wall.
