Sirach 21:18
Good News Translation
To an ignorant person, wisdom is as useless as a house gone to ruin. He has never even thought about the things he is so sure of.

New Revised Standard Version
Like a house in ruins is wisdom to a fool, and to the ignorant, knowledge is talk that has no meaning.

Contemporary English Version
Knowledge means nothing to ignorant fools, and wisdom is useless as a burned-down house.
