Sirach 19:24
Good News Translation
A devout person, even if he is not very intelligent, is better off than the cleverest of sinners.

Better are the God-fearing who lack understanding than the highly intelligent who transgress the law.

It is better to fear the Lord and not be so intelligent, than to be very smart and to break his Law.
