Sirach 17:25
Good News Translation
Come to the Lord, and leave your sin behind. Pray sincerely that he will help you live a better life.

Turn back to the Lord and forsake your sins; pray in his presence and lessen your offense.

Stop sinning and return to the Lord; your punishment will be less if you pray to him.
