Sirach 16:1
Good News Translation
A large family is nothing to be desired if the children are worthless. Godless children are nothing to be proud of.

New Revised Standard Version
Do not desire a multitude of worthless children, and do not rejoice in ungodly offspring.

Contemporary English Version
Ungodly children are worthless and are nothing to desire or to celebrate.

New American Bible
Do not yearn for worthless children, or rejoice in wicked offspring.
