Sirach 13:1
Good News Translation
If you touch tar, it will stick to you, and if you keep company with arrogant people, you will come to be just like them.

New Revised Standard Version
Whoever touches pitch gets dirty, and whoever associates with a proud person becomes like him.

Can you stay humble if your friends are proud? Only if you can handle tar and stay clean!
