Sirach 1:30
Good News Translation
Don't be arrogant; you may suffer a fall and be disgraced. The Lord will reveal your secrets and humble you in front of everyone in the synagogue, because you did not come there with reverence for the Lord, but with a heart full of hypocrisy.

Contemporary English Version
If you boast and then fail, you will be disgraced. And if you only pretend to worship the Lord, he will bring you down and show everyone that you are a fake.
