Good News Translation
As the Lord lives, I swear that Holofernes never touched me, although my beauty deceived him and brought him to his ruin. I was not defiled or disgraced; the Lord took care of me through it all."

As the Lord lives, who has protected me in the way I went, I swear that it was my face that seduced him to his destruction, and that he committed no sin with me, to defile and shame me.”

My beauty tricked him and led to his death, but as surely as the Lord lives, Holofernes never touched me. I was not disgraced, because the Lord protected me at all times.
