2 Maccabees 8:25
Good News Translation
They seized the money from the people who had come to buy them as slaves. Then they pursued the enemy a long way, until they had to return,

New Revised Standard Version
They captured the money of those who had come to buy them as slaves. After pursuing them for some distance, they were obliged to return because the hour was late.

Contemporary English Version
When the fighting was over, they took the money from those who had come to buy them as slaves. Then they chased after the rest of Nicanor's army for a long way. But when evening came, they had to return,
