2 Maccabees 7:7
Good News Translation
After the first brother had died in this way, the soldiers started amusing themselves with the second one by tearing the hair and skin from his head. Then they asked him, "Now will you eat this pork, or do you want us to chop off your hands and feet one by one?"

After the first brother had died in this way, they brought forward the second for their sport. They tore off the skin of his head with the hair, and asked him, “Will you eat rather than have your body punished limb by limb?”

When the first brother was dead, the soldiers grabbed the second brother. They made fun of him and scalped him. Then they asked, "Wouldn't you rather eat some meat from a pig than to be slowly tortured to death?"
