2 Maccabees 15:36
Good News Translation
By unanimous vote it was decided that this day would never be forgotten, but would be celebrated each year on the eve of Mordecai's Day, which is the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, called Adar in Aramaic.

New Revised Standard Version
And they all decreed by public vote never to let this day go unobserved, but to celebrate the thirteenth day of the twelfth month—which is called Adar in the Aramaic language—the day before Mordecai’s day.

Contemporary English Version
Then everyone decided to remember this day forever by celebrating a festival on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is called Adar in Aramaic. The Festival of Mordecai is celebrated the day before.
