2 Maccabees 15:14
Good News Translation
Onias said: "This is God's prophet Jeremiah, who loves the Jewish people and offers many prayers for us and for Jerusalem, the holy city."

And Onias spoke, saying, “This is a man who loves the family of Israel and prays much for the people and the holy city—Jeremiah, the prophet of God.”

Onias said to me, "This man is God's prophet Jeremiah. He loves our nation and our holy city of Jerusalem so much that he never stops praying for us."
