2 Maccabees 15:10
Good News Translation
When his men were ready for battle, he gave them their orders and at the same time pointed out how the Gentiles could not be trusted, because they never kept their treaties.

When he had aroused their courage, he issued his orders, at the same time pointing out the perfidy of the Gentiles and their violation of oaths.

The troops were now excited and eager to fight. So Judas gave them their orders and pointed out that Gentiles never kept their promises.
