2 Maccabees 10:36
Good News Translation
At the same time, others climbed the walls on the other side of the fort and set the towers on fire. Many of the enemy were burned to death as the flames spread. A third force broke down the gates and let in the rest of Judas' men to capture the city.

New Revised Standard Version
Others who came up in the same way wheeled around against the defenders and set fire to the towers; they kindled fires and burned the blasphemers alive. Others broke open the gates and let in the rest of the force, and they occupied the city.

Contemporary English Version
At the same time, others fought their way over another section of the wall and attacked. They set fire to the whole fortress, including its towers, and burned alive those troops who had cursed God. Then some of our soldiers beat down the gates, allowing the rest of our army to capture the town.

New American Bible
Similarly, others climbed up and swung around on the defenders; they put the towers to the torch, spread the fire and burned the blasphemers alive. Still others broke down the gates and let in the rest of the troops, who took possession of the city.

Douay-Rheims Bible
Moreover, others also getting up after them, went to set fire to the towers and the gates, and to burn the blasphemers alive.
