2 Maccabees 10:16
Good News Translation
So Judas Maccabeus and his men, after offering prayers for God's help, rushed out and made a vigorous attack against the Idumean fortresses.

But Maccabeus and his forces, after making solemn supplication and imploring God to fight on their side, rushed to the strongholds of the Idumeans.

Because of these attacks, Judas and his troops begged God for help. Then they quickly set out for the Idumean fortresses.
