1 Maccabees 9:39
Good News Translation
They kept watch and saw a noisy crowd loaded down with baggage. The bridegroom, his friends, and his relatives were on their way to meet the bride's party. They were heavily armed and were playing musical instruments and drums.

New Revised Standard Version
They looked out and saw a tumultuous procession with a great amount of baggage; and the bridegroom came out with his friends and his brothers to meet them with tambourines and musicians and many weapons.

Contemporary English Version
Soon they saw a noisy group of travelers with a lot of baggage. It was the bride, with her family and friends. The groom and his friends were coming to meet them, playing drums and musical instruments, and all of them were armed.
