1 Maccabees 6:45
Good News Translation
He ran boldly toward the elephant, which was in the middle of a battalion of infantry. He rushed forward killing men to the right and left, so that the enemy soldiers fell back before him on both sides.

He courageously ran into the midst of the phalanx to reach it; he killed men right and left, and they parted before him on both sides.

He dashed courageously up to it in the middle of the phalanx, killing men right and left, so that they parted before him.
