Good News Translation
All the people were terrified when they heard the noise made by the clashing of weapons and the marching of that great and powerful army.

All who heard the noise made by their multitude, by the marching of the multitude and the clanking of their arms, trembled, for the army was very large and strong.

The loud and clanging sound of this powerful army brought terror to the hearts of all who heard them coming.
