Meanwhile, the enemies in the fort at Jerusalem had been blockading the people of Israel in the area around the Temple, constantly causing them trouble and giving support to the Gentiles.

Meanwhile the garrison in the citadel kept hemming Israel in around the sanctuary. They were trying in every way to harm them and strengthen the Gentiles.

Meanwhile, some enemies were still in the Jerusalem fortress, where they were trying to keep control of the temple and help the Gentiles by causing trouble for the Jews.
