1 Maccabees 3:43
Good News Translation
So they determined to rebuild their ruined nation and fight for their country and the Temple.

But they said to one another, “Let us restore the ruins of our people, and fight for our people and the sanctuary.”

But Judas and his brothers were determined to make their nation strong again and to defend their people and temple.

So they said to one another, “Let us raise our people from their ruin and fight for them and for our sanctuary!”
