Good News Translation
He was very disturbed; but finally he decided to go to Persia, collect the taxes from the provinces there, and bring together a large sum of ready cash.

He was greatly perplexed in mind; then he determined to go to Persia and collect the revenues from those regions and raise a large fund.

He was so upset that he decided to take his army and collect all the taxes he could from Persia and the other countries nearby.
