Good News Translation
King Ptolemy replied, "It was a great day when you returned to your country and took the throne of your ancestors.

Ptolemy the king replied and said, “Happy was the day on which you returned to the land of your ancestors and took your seat on the throne of their kingdom.

Ptolemy wrote back: Alexander, it was a happy day when you came back to rule the kingdom of your ancestors.
