1 Maccabees 10:16
Good News Translation
He was certain that he would never find another man like Jonathan and so decided to make him his friend and ally.

New Revised Standard Version
So he said, “Shall we find another such man? Come now, we will make him our friend and ally.”

Contemporary English Version
Alexander replied, "I'd better make Jonathan my friend and ally. I'll never find anyone else like him."

He said, “Shall we ever find another man like him? Let us now make him our friend and ally.”
