Good News Translation
In the year 160, Alexander Epiphanes, son of Antiochus the Fourth, landed at Ptolemais and captured it. The people welcomed him as their king.

In the one hundred sixtieth year Alexander Epiphanes, son of Antiochus, landed and occupied Ptolemais. They welcomed him, and there he began to reign.

Alexander Epiphanes was the son of King Antiochus the Fourth. He landed on the Phoenician coast and captured the city of Ptolemais in the year 160 of the Syrian Kingdom. The people welcomed Alexander as their king.
