Good News Translation
and each had himself crowned king of his own territory. The descendants of these kings ruled for many generations and brought a great deal of misery on the world.

They all put on crowns after his death, and so did their descendants after them for many years; and they caused many evils on the earth.

Then after Alexander's death, they crowned themselves kings. Their descendants also ruled as kings for many years and caused trouble all over the world.
