Jeremiah 25:9, 12
behold, I will summon all the families of the north, declares the LORD, and I will send for My servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. I will bring them against this land, against its residents, and against all the surrounding nations. So I will completely destroy them and make them an object of horror and contempt, an everlasting desolation. . . .

Jeremiah 26:6, 7
then I will make this house like Shiloh, and I will make this city an object of cursing among all the nations of the earth." . . .

Jeremiah 27:12, 13
