ποδήρης, ποδηρες, accusative ποδηρην, Lachmann's stereotyped edition; Tdf. edition 7 in Revelation 1:13; see ἄρσην (πούς, and ἀρῶ 'to join together,' 'fasten'), reaching to the feet (Aeschylus, Euripides, Xenophon, Plutarch, others): ποδήρης (namely, χιτών, Exodus 25:6; Exodus 28:4; Exodus 35:8; Ezekiel 9:3) or ποδήρης (namely, ἐσθής), a garment reaching to the ankles, coming down to the feet, Revelation 1:13 (Sir. 27:8 Sir. 45:8; χιτών ποδήρης, Xenophon, Cyril 6, 4, 2; Pausanias, 5, 19, 6; ὑποδύτης ποδήρης, Exodus 28:27; ἔνδυμα ποδήρης, Wis. 18:24; (Josephus, b. j. 5, 5, 7)).
