STRONGS NT 361: ἀναμάρτητος

ἀναμάρτητος, ἀναμάρτητον (from ἄν, the alpha privative, and the form ἁμαρτέω), sinless, both one who has not sinned, and one who cannot sin. In the former sense in John 8:7; Deuteronomy 29:19; 2 Macc. 8:4 2Macc. 12:42; (Test. xii. Patr. test. Benj. § 3). On the use of this word from Herodotus down, cf.
