(editions Ald., Complutensian) 1 Chronicles 7:5, 7; 1 Chronicles 9:22; ( Complutensian; Ezra 8:1 ibid.)); in plural of the orders of aeons, according to the doctrine of the Gnostics: 1 Timothy 1:4; Titus 3:9; cf. DeWette on Titus 1:14 (substantially reproduced by Alford on 1 Timothy, the passage cited; see also Holtzmann, Pastoralbriefe, pp. 126f, 134f, 143).
