NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
Woe to the city of oppressors, rebellious and defiled!1Woe to her who is rebellious and defiled, the oppressing city!1Woe to her who is rebellious and defiled, The tyrannical city!1Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!1Woe to the city that is rebellious and defiled, the oppressive city!
She obeys no one, she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the LORD, she does not draw near to her God.2She listens to no voice; she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the LORD; she does not draw near to her God.2She heeded no voice, She accepted no instruction. She did not trust in the LORD, She did not draw near to her God.2She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.2She has not obeyed; she has not accepted discipline. She has not trusted in Yahweh; she has not drawn near to her God.
Her officials within her are roaring lions; her rulers are evening wolves, who leave nothing for the morning.3Her officials within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves that leave nothing till the morning.3Her princes within her are roaring lions, Her judges are wolves at evening; They leave nothing for the morning.3Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.3The princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are wolves of the night, which leave nothing for the morning.
Her prophets are unprincipled; they are treacherous people. 5The LORD within her is righteous; he does no wrong. Morning by morning he dispenses his justice, and every new day he does not fail, yet the unrighteous know no shame.5The LORD within her is righteous; he does no injustice; every morning he shows forth his justice; each dawn he does not fail; but the unjust knows no shame.5The LORD is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail. But the unjust knows no shame.5The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.5The righteous LORD is in her; He does no wrong. He applies His justice morning by morning; He does not fail at dawn, yet the one who does wrong knows no shame.
"I have destroyed nations; their strongholds are demolished. I have left their streets deserted, with no one passing through. Their cities are laid waste; they are deserted and empty.6“I have cut off nations; their battlements are in ruins; I have laid waste their streets so that no one walks in them; their cities have been made desolate, without a man, without an inhabitant.6"I have cut off nations; Their corner towers are in ruins. I have made their streets desolate, With no one passing by; Their cities are laid waste, Without a man, without an inhabitant.6I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.6I have cut off nations; their corner towers are destroyed. I have laid waste their streets, with no one to pass through. Their cities lie devastated, without a person, without an inhabitant.
Of Jerusalem I thought, 'Surely you will fear me and accept correction!' Then her place of refuge would not be destroyed, nor all my punishments come upon her. But they were still eager to act corruptly in all they did.7I said, ‘Surely you will fear me; you will accept correction. Then your dwelling would not be cut off according to all that I have appointed against you.’ But all the more they were eager to make all their deeds corrupt.7"I said, 'Surely you will revere Me, Accept instruction.' So her dwelling will not be cut off According to all that I have appointed concerning her. But they were eager to corrupt all their deeds.7I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.7I thought: You will certainly fear Me and accept correction. Then her dwelling place would not be cut off based on all that I had allocated to her. However, they became more corrupt in all their actions.
Therefore wait for me," declares the LORD, "for the day I will stand up to testify. I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath on them-- all my fierce anger. The whole world will be consumed by the fire of my jealous anger.8“Therefore wait for me,” declares the LORD, “for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.8"Therefore wait for Me," declares the LORD, "For the day when I rise up as a witness. Indeed, My decision is to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them My indignation, All My burning anger; For all the earth will be devoured By the fire of My zeal.8Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.8Therefore, wait for Me-- this is the LORD's declaration-- until the day I rise up for plunder. For My decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, in order to pour out My indignation on them, all My burning anger; for the whole earth will be consumed by the fire of My jealousy.

Purification of the Nations

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
"Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve him shoulder to shoulder.9“For at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the LORD and serve him with one accord.9"For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, That all of them may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder.9For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.9For I will then restore pure speech to the peoples so that all of them may call on the name of Yahweh and serve Him with a single purpose.
From beyond the rivers of Cush my worshipers, my scattered people, will bring me offerings.10From beyond the rivers of Cush my worshipers, the daughter of my dispersed ones, shall bring my offering.10"From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My dispersed ones, Will bring My offerings.10From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.10From beyond the rivers of Cush My supplicants, My dispersed people, will bring an offering to Me.
On that day you, Jerusalem, will not be put to shame for all the wrongs you have done to me, because I will remove from you your arrogant boasters. Never again will you be haughty on my holy hill.11“On that day you shall not be put to shame because of the deeds by which you have rebelled against me; for then I will remove from your midst your proudly exultant ones, and you shall no longer be haughty in my holy mountain.11"In that day you will feel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your proud, exulting ones, And you will never again be haughty On My holy mountain.11In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.11On that day you will not be put to shame because of everything you have done in rebelling against Me. For then I will remove your proud, arrogant people from among you, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain.
But I will leave within you the meek and humble. The remnant of Israel will trust in the name of the LORD.12But I will leave in your midst a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the LORD,12"But I will leave among you A humble and lowly people, And they will take refuge in the name of the LORD.12I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.12I will leave a meek and humble people among you, and they will take refuge in the name of Yahweh.
They will do no wrong; they will tell no lies. A deceitful tongue will not be found in their mouths. They will eat and lie down and no one will make them afraid."13those who are left in Israel; they shall do no injustice and speak no lies, nor shall there be found in their mouth a deceitful tongue. For they shall graze and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.”13"The remnant of Israel will do no wrong And tell no lies, Nor will a deceitful tongue Be found in their mouths; For they will feed and lie down With no one to make them tremble."13The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.13The remnant of Israel will no longer do wrong or tell lies; a deceitful tongue will not be found in their mouths. But they will pasture and lie down, with nothing to make them afraid.

"I will remove from you all who mourn over the loss of your appointed festivals, which is a burden and reproach for you.18I will gather those of you who mourn for the festival, so that you will no longer suffer reproach.18"I will gather those who grieve about the appointed feasts-- They came from you, O Zion; The reproach of exile is a burden on them.18I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.18I will gather those who have been driven from the appointed festivals; they will be a tribute from you and a reproach on her.
At that time I will deal with all who oppressed you. I will rescue the lame; I will gather the exiles. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they have suffered shame.19Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth.19"Behold, I am going to deal at that time With all your oppressors, I will save the lame And gather the outcast, And I will turn their shame into praise and renown In all the earth.19Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.19Yes, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you. I will save the lame and gather the scattered; I will make those who were disgraced throughout the earth receive praise and fame.
At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes," says the LORD.20At that time I will bring you in, at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praised among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” says the LORD.20"At that time I will bring you in, Even at the time when I gather you together; Indeed, I will give you renown and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I restore your fortunes before your eyes," Says the LORD.20At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.20At that time I will bring you back, yes, at the time I will gather you. I will give you fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes. Yahweh has spoken.
