Love for Brothers

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
1Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.1Let brotherly love continue.1Let love of the brethren continue.1Let brotherly love continue.1Let brotherly love continue.
2Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.2Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.2Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.2Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.2Don't neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.
3Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.3Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.3Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.3Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.3Remember the prisoners, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily.
4Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.4Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.4Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.4Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.4Marriage must be respected by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, because God will judge immoral people and adulterers.

Jesus Christ is the Same

5Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."5Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”5Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,"5Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.5Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.
6So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?"6So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”6so that we confidently say, "THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?"6So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.6Therefore, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
7Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.7Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.7Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.7Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.7Remember your leaders who have spoken God's word to you. As you carefully observe the outcome of their lives, imitate their faith.

9Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods, which is of no benefit to those who do so.9Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them.9Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.9Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.9Don't be led astray by various kinds of strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established by grace and not by foods, since those involved in them have not benefited.
10We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.10We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat.10We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.10We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.10We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle do not have a right to eat.
11The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp.11For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp.11For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.11For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.11For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the most holy place by the high priest as a sin offering are burned outside the camp.
12And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.12So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.12Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.12Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the gate, so that He might sanctify the people by His own blood.
13Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.13Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.13So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.13Let us then go to Him outside the camp, bearing His disgrace.
14For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.14For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.14For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come.14For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.14For we do not have an enduring city here; instead, we seek the one to come.

Sacrifices and Prayer

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
15Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.15Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.15Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.15By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.15Therefore, through Him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess His name.
16And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.16Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.16And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.16But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.16Don't neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.
17Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.17Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.17Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.17Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.17Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.
18Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.18Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things.18Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.18Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.18Pray for us; for we are convinced that we have a clear conscience, wanting to conduct ourselves honorably in everything.
19I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.19I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order that I may be restored to you the sooner.19And I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you the sooner.19But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.19And I especially urge you to pray that I may be restored to you very soon.

Benediction and Final Greetings

20Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,20Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,20Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord,20Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,20Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus--the great Shepherd of the sheep--with the blood of the everlasting covenant,

22Brothers and sisters, I urge you to bear with my word of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you quite briefly.22I appeal to you, brothers, bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.22But I urge you, brethren, bear with this word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.22And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.22Brothers, I urge you to receive this message of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.
23I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been released. If he arrives soon, I will come with him to see you.23You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon.23Take notice that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom, if he comes soon, I will see you.23Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.23Be aware that our brother Timothy has been released. If he comes soon enough, he will be with me when I see you.
