Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin to death…


One day a Mr. Charles was about to start from home to fulfil a preaching appointment, when rough weather set in, and he hesitated whether he ought to brave the storm. He consulted a Mr. John Evans on the point. "Tell Mr. Charles," was the message returned, "that if he is a master he may stay at home, but if a servant he ought to keep his appointment."
