Hebrews 12:9-10
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence…

A lady, from injuries received in a railway accident, had to keep her bed in much pain and suffering for tong weary months. Upon the anniversary of the accident she gathered some of her most intimate friends into her room, and there, still a prisoner to her bed, she held a meeting of praise, counting up all the mercies of her year of sickness.
