Remembering the Needs of Others
Hebrews 13:3
Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

In one of Dickens's letters referring to a notice of Tom Hood's book which he had written for the Examiner, he says: "Rather poor, but I have not said so, because Hood is poor too, and ill besides."

(H. O. Mackey.)
