I. THE CONDUCT OF MANY PROFESSED CHRISTIANS INDICATES —

1. That they have some knowledge of grace.

2. That they do not heartily receive it because of sin.

3. That they rather use it as a shelter for sin.

II. SUCH CONDUCT IS ABOMINABLE, because it —

1. Tempts God.

2. Is irrational.

3. Courts certain destruction.

4. Is impossible where grace is really active.
