NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.1Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.1Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave.1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.1After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to view the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.2And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.2And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.2Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, because an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and approached the tomb. He rolled back the stone and was sitting on it.
His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.3And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:3His appearance was like lightning, and his robe was as white as snow.
The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.4And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.4The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men.4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.4The guards were so shaken from fear of him that they became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.5But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.5The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.5But the angel told the women, "Don't be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.6He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.6"He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.6He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.
Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."7Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”7"Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you."7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.7Then go quickly and tell His disciples, 'He has been raised from the dead. In fact, He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there.' Listen, I have told you."
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.8So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.8And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples.8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.8So, departing quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to tell His disciples the news.
Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.9And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.9And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him.9And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.9Just then Jesus met them and said, "Good morning!" They came up, took hold of His feet, and worshiped Him.
Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."10Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”10Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid; go and take word to My brethren to leave for Galilee, and there they will see Me."10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.10Then Jesus told them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see Me there."

The Report of the Guards

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened.11While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place.11Now while they were on their way, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened.11Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.11As they were on their way, some of the guards came into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened.
When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money,12And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers12And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,12And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,12After the priests had assembled with the elders and agreed on a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money
telling them, "You are to say, 'His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.'13and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’13and said, "You are to say, 'His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.'13Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.13and told them, "Say this, 'His disciples came during the night and stole Him while we were sleeping.'
If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble."14And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.”14"And if this should come to the governor's ears, we will win him over and keep you out of trouble."14And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.14If this reaches the governor's ears, we will deal with him and keep you out of trouble."
So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.15So they took the money and did as they were directed. And this story has been spread among the Jews to this day.15And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely spread among the Jews, and is to this day.15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.15So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been spread among Jewish people to this day.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.16Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.16But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated.16Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.16The 11 disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them.
When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.17And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted.17When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.17When they saw Him, they worshiped, but some doubted.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.18And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.18Then Jesus came near and said to them, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
