John 8:14 Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. John 8:42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. John 13:1 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end. John 13:3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; John 16:5 but now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me, 'Where are you going?' John 16:10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; John 16:30 Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God."
