See Jeremiah 39:2-4; and 2 Kings 25:4. Treasury of Scripture Knowledge Dig thou [heb] Dig for thee. This was to shew that Zedekiah should escape from the city through a breach in the wall 2 Kings 25:4 And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls... Ezekiel 12:4 During the daytime, while they watch, bring out your belongings packed for exile. Then in the evening, while they are watching, go out like those who go into exile.
Ezekiel 12:6 Put them on your shoulder as they are watching and carry them out at dusk. Cover your face so that you cannot see the land, for I have made you a sign to the Israelites."
