Job: What Can I Say? 1Then the LORD said to Job,
Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? 3Then Job answered the LORD and said,
Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to You?
Once I have spoken, and I will not answer;
Now gird up your loins like a man;
Will you really annul My judgment?
Or do you have an arm like God,
Adorn yourself with eminence and dignity,
Pour out the overflowings of your anger,
Look on everyone who is proud, and humble him,
Hide them in the dust together;
Then I will also confess to you,
Behold now, his strength in his loins
He bends his tail like a cedar;
His bones are tubes of bronze;
He is the first of the ways of God;
Surely the mountains bring him food,
Under the lotus plants he lies down,
The lotus plants cover him with shade;
If a river rages, he is not alarmed;
Can anyone capture him when he is on watch, NASB 1995 Copyright © 1960, 1962, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, Calif. All rights reserved. For Permission to Quote Information visit http://www.lockman.org Bible Hub |
