Thanksgiving for Their Faith

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
3We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.3We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.3We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater;3We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;3We must always thank God for you, brothers. This is right, since your faith is flourishing and the love each one of you has for one another is increasing.
4Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.4Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.4therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.4So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:4Therefore, we ourselves boast about you among God's churches--about your endurance and faith in all the persecutions and afflictions you endure.

Christ's Coming

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
5All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.5This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—5This is a plain indication of God's righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.5Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:5It is a clear evidence of God's righteous judgment that you will be counted worthy of God's kingdom, for which you also are suffering,
6God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you6since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you,6For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,6Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;6since it is righteous for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you
7and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.7and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels7and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,7And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,7and to reward with rest you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful angels,
8He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.8in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.8dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.8In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:8taking vengeance with flaming fire on those who don't know God and on those who don't obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
9They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might9They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,9These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,9Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;9These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord's presence and from His glorious strength
10on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.10when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.10when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed-- for our testimony to you was believed.10When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.10in that day when He comes to be glorified by His saints and to be admired by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.
11With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.11To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power,11To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power,11Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:11And in view of this, we always pray for you that our God will consider you worthy of His calling, and will, by His power, fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith,
12We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.12so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.12so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.12so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified by you, and you by Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
