Parables of the Mustard Seed and of the Leaven
Interwoven Gospels

He said therefore, "To what is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I liken it? It is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden, and it grew and came to be a tree, and the birds of heaven rested on its branches."

And again He said, "To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like to leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, until it was all leavened."
