Majestic are His Works

1Hallelujah!

א

I will celebrate Jehovah with my whole heart,

ב

in the council of the upright, and in the assembly.

ג

2Great are the works of Jehovah;

ד

sought out of all that delight in them.

ה

3His work is majesty and splendour,

ו

and his righteousness abideth for ever.

ז

4He hath made his wonders to be remembered:

ח

Jehovah is gracious and merciful.

ט

5He hath given meat unto them that fear him;

י

he is ever mindful of his covenant.

כ

6He hath shewn his people the power of his works,

ל

to give them the heritage of the nations.

מ

7The works of his hands are truth and judgment;

נ

all his precepts are faithful:

8Maintained for ever and ever,

ע

done in truth and uprightness.

9He sent deliverance unto his people;

צ

he hath commanded his covenant for ever:

ק

holy and terrible is his name.

ר

10The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom;

ש

a good understanding have all they that do his precepts:

ת

his praise abideth for ever.
