And this was John's testimony when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him, "Who are you?" John 5:15 And the man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. John 5:16 Now because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews began to persecute Him. John 5:18 Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. John 6:41 At this, the Jews began to grumble about Jesus because He had said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven." John 6:52 At this, the Jews began to argue among themselves, "How can this man give us His flesh to eat?" John 7:1 After this, Jesus traveled throughout Galilee. He did not want to travel in Judea, because the Jews there were trying to kill Him. John 7:11 So the Jews were looking for Him at the feast and asking, "Where is He?" John 7:15 The Jews were amazed and asked, "How did this man attain such learning without having studied?" John 8:22 So the Jews began to ask, "Will He kill Himself, since He says, 'Where I am going, you cannot come'?" John 8:48 The Jews answered Him, "Are we not right to say that You are a Samaritan and You have a demon?" John 8:52 "Now we know that You have a demon!" declared the Jews. "Abraham died, and so did the prophets, yet You say that anyone who keeps Your word will never taste death. John 8:57 Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?" John 10:24 So the Jews gathered around Him and demanded, "How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly." John 10:31 At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him.
