Psalm 52
Peshitta Holy Bible Translated Par ▾
Why do you boast in evil, oh, mighty man, and against the innocent every day?

Your tongue conceives evil and, like a sharpened razor, you have worked deceit.

You have loved evil more than good, and lying more than speaking righteousness.

You have loved all evil speaking and deceitful tongues.

Because of this, God will root you out and will overthrow you for eternity from your dwelling, and he will root you out of the land of the living.

For the righteous will see and will rejoice and they will hope in LORD JEHOVAH.

And we shall say, "This is the man who did not make God his trust but trusted upon the multitude of his wealth and is lifted up by his possessions.”

And I, like a glorious olive tree in the house of God, have hoped in the grace of God for eternity and to the eternity of eternities.

I shall confess to you for eternity what you have done, and I shall proclaim your Name to a generation of generations before your righteous ones.
